Welcome to FCCV

Established in 2010, the Faith Communities Council of Victoria (FCCV) is Victoria’s umbrella multifaith body. It is the successor to the Leaders of Faith Communities Forum, founded in 1995.

FCCV was created to contribute to the harmony of the Victorian community by promoting positive relations between people of different faiths and greater public knowledge and mutual understanding of the teachings, customs and practices of Victoria's diverse faith traditions.

Loss, grief and healing during a global pandemic: Hobsons Bay Interfaith Network

Hobsons Bay Interfaith Network invites you to:

Loss, grief and healing during a global pandemic

Date: Wednesday 16 February 2022      Time: 7pm to 8:30pm
Location: Online (Clik here to register)

The Hobsons Bay Interfaith Network invites you to listen to a panel of both secular and faith based guest speakers and then join in a conversation about loss, grief and healing during a global pandemic.

Faith leaders and communities have symbols, processes and rituals that support the cycle of grief, these have been disrupted and altered throughout the pandemic. The pandemic itself has resulted in many different types of loss from death to social connection and all that is in between. Faith leaders and communities play an important role in supporting individual and community grieving processes that lead to community recovery and resilience.

Any questions about this online conversation - please contact commdev@hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au

Registrations close: Friday 11 February, 12pm

Once registered, a link to access the online session will be sent to the nominated email in the form prior to the session from commdev@hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au. If you don't see the email, please check your junk folder for your email.
