Welcome to FCCV

Established in 2010, the Faith Communities Council of Victoria (FCCV) is Victoria’s umbrella multifaith body. It is the successor to the Leaders of Faith Communities Forum, founded in 1995.

FCCV was created to contribute to the harmony of the Victorian community by promoting positive relations between people of different faiths and greater public knowledge and mutual understanding of the teachings, customs and practices of Victoria's diverse faith traditions.

'Understanding Each Other' - A Joint Journey to Jerusalem

Twelve people, from the Jewish, Christian, Muslim faiths, embarked on an incredible journey of discovery. They visited each other's historical sacred places to study and share texts, to listen to each other's story and to truly 'meet' in the City of Jerusalem which is so sacred to all three traditions.

Come along on Sunday 3rd August 2.00pm - 5.00pm to hear their personal experiences and reflections. Ask questions. Gain insight into how three faiths found common ground and explored the light and shadow sides of their relationships’.
