 director of the Islamic Museum of Australia. Sherene has served as vice pr
 esident and secretary of the Islamic Council of Victoria\, the peak body f
 or 90\,000 Victorian Muslims for nearly eight years. She was one of the me
 dia spokespeople for the Council during that period. To date she has condu
 cted over 800 information sessions on Islam to diverse audiences ranging f
 rom the Flying Fruit Fly Circus School to the Australian Federal Police. I
 n December 2007\, Sherene was selected by the Age newspaper as one of Melb
 ourne's 100 Most Influential people. Formerly a chemistry and physics teac
 her\, Sherene is married with four children.\nFor catering purposes\, the
