DESCRIPTION:\nApplications close for the Promoting Harmony: Multifaith Init
 iatives and Interfaith Networks grants category\, as a part of the VMC's C
 ommunity Grants Program. \nFunding is for projects that will occur between
  1 July 2013 and 30 June 2014. \nGrants of up to $10\,000 (excluding GST) 
 are available for a range of projects that bring together different faith 
 and community groups to promote community harmony\, celebrate our shared v
 alues and increase our understanding of\, and respect for\, our difference
 s. Grants over $10\,000 (and up to $20\,000\, excluding GST) will be consi
 dered only for the establishment of new interfaith networks or projects th
 at will build the capacity and sustainability of existing interfaith netwo
 rks. \nPlease refer to the attached Guidelines  for the Multifaith/Interfa
 ith grants category. These Guidelines require that projects display strong
  collaborative links between partner organisations\, as demonstrated by me
 aningful and tangible contributions from partner organisations. We encoura
 ge you to carefully review the Guidelines to ensure that you submit as str
 ong an application as possible.   You can also now apply online for VMC  g
