 invites young people to:  “Stepping OUT” – Going bush for a mind-expanding
  experience  Are you: • 18-25 years old and living in the Western Suburbs 
 of Melbourne? • A person connected to a cultural or religious community? •
  Interested in expanding your horizons and meeting people from different f
 aiths &amp\; cultural communities? • Willing to take on the challenge of a
  three day hike in the Victorian bush? • Free on the Easter weekend\, Sat 
 19 April – Mon 21 April?\nThen – join a group of 20 selected young adults 
 to participate in the inaugural Interfaith Bush Walk sponsored by the Brim
 bank &amp\; Maribyrnong Interfaith Network.\nThis is a fully sponsored and
  expertly facilitated bush hike with all equipment\, food and materials su

 e Location is the Brisbane Ranges National Park - about 50 kilometres or 4
 5 minutes west of Werribee. The Burchell Trail is a 38 kilometre\, three-d
 ay walk that runs north-south through the national park.\nThe walk will co
 mmence on Saturday morning (19th April) and conclude on Monday afternoon (
 21 April). There will be two groups: male participants will walk from nort
 h to south\, and female participants will walk from south to north.\nPrior
  to the commencement of the walk\, an information evening will be conducte
 d\, to provide an opportunity to introduce yourselves\, understand and dev
 elop expectations and reflect on what you might like to gain from ‘Steppin
 g Out’.\nParticipants will be required to walk for about two or three hour
 s each day and will carry a rucksack each day with waterproof clothing\, a
  water bottle and snacks. Tents\, clothing\, sleeping bags\, food and cook
 ing equipment will be carried in a support vehicle. Participants will be e
 xpected to erect their own accommodation tents\, cooperate with others in 
 cooking meals and performing tasks that will contribute to a successful an
 d worthwhile experience.\nExperienced facilitators will lead the activitie
 s and structured discussions about faith and identity in the evening sessi
 ons. Informal conversations around faith and cultural identity are encoura
 ged during walking and meal times.\nNo drugs or alcohol will be allowed. S
 uitable food will be provided for Halal and Vegetarian diets.\nA Certifica
 te of Achievement will be awarded to each participant on conclusion of the
