 efugees Forum  This enlightening forum will offer to those interested in u
 nderstanding the plight of refugees who struggle with despair\, issues of 
 forgiveness\, and steps to hope and healing. Participants will be able to 
 engage in educative discussions while networking with other community memb
 ers and organisations to help build an inclusive\, ‘hopeful’\, community.

 ilitator: Dr. John Steward Dr John Steward is a former World Vision Execut
 ive Training Coordinator (in Indonesia) and Development Services Manager (
 in Australia). Over recent times\, John has been a facilitator of workshop
 s here in Melbourne for those who have experienced traumatic incidence\, o
 f which refugees make up a significant number in the sessions. Building on
  to his nine years of experience managing a mentor program of peace-builde
 rs and facilitator for African trauma healing programs in the aftermath of
  the Rwandan Genocide\, John will introduce the group to some of this work
  that has assisted Rwandan refugees and survivors to find healing and forg
 iveness for the effects of long-term conflict.\nAfternoon tea included. \n
