 our community?\nThe Office of Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship (OMAC)
  is offering an Advanced Training Course to equip senior and up-and-coming
  leaders from culturally and religiously diverse communities\, with the kn
 ow-how to advance their organisational and community interests\; and to ef
 fectively represent and promote their community to the media. The course w
 ill be conducted in Melbourne on Wednesday\, September 19th 2012 (9am-5pm)
 . Venue is yet to be confirmed.\nThe Advanced Training Course targets peop
 le who have a thorough working knowledge of the media\, and extensive expe
 rience engaging with major media outlets (e.g. interviews\, TV and radio a
 ppearances\, published editorials in major newspapers\, etc). This course 
 is intensive and individually focussed\, and will be a means for participa
 nts to further enhance their already strong media skills. Participants wil
 l work closely with media practitioners\, and receive personal one-on-one 
 advice and support from trainers\, materials and an interview evaluation D
