Applications close for the Promoting Harmony: Multifaith Initiatives and Interfaith Networks grants category, as a part of the VMC's Community Grants Program.
Funding is for projects that will occur between 1 July 2013 and 30 June 2014.
Grants of up to $10,000 (excluding GST) are available for a range of projects that bring together different faith and community groups to promote community harmony, celebrate our shared values and increase our understanding of, and respect for, our differences. Grants over $10,000 (and up to $20,000, excluding GST) will be considered only for the establishment of new interfaith networks or projects that will build the capacity and sustainability of existing interfaith networks.
Please refer to the attached Guidelines for the Multifaith/Interfaith grants category. These Guidelines require that projects display strong collaborative links between partner organisations, as demonstrated by meaningful and tangible contributions from partner organisations. We encourage you to carefully review the Guidelines to ensure that you submit as strong an application as possible.
You can also now apply online for VMC grants at http://www.multicultural.vic.gov.au/grants/application-forms
