Continuing the tradition of exploring marriages and weddings in different faiths, Frankston Interfaith Network is proud to present…. Weddings in the Serbian Orthodox tradition
The Serbian Orthodox wedding ceremony is rich in history and symbolism. What takes place within the ceremonial taking of sacred vows is much more than just traditional pomp and ceremony. For the two people it represents a union with each other and creating a new household or 'kingdom' together based on shared understanding and commitment with the support of their faith and beliefs.
