Port Phillip Multifaith Network invites you to:
Sharing Voices
Date: Wednesday 10 June 2026 Time: 5pm to 6:30pm
Location: Training Room, St Kilda Town Hall, 99A Carlisle St, St Kilda
As a network, we are aiming to strengthen our collective capacity around social cohesion and rights awareness. Given the calibre of speakers, we’re extending this invitation to help build the capacity of other networks and share this valuable learning opportunity more broadly.
To support this, we have included a dedicated session featuring expert speakers:
Capacity Building Session: Understanding Rights and Strengthening Social Cohesion
1. Understanding rights, responsibilities, and recent changes to anti-vilification and hate laws
5:05 – 5:35 pm
Lauren Mathews, Director Programs, Victorian Equal Opportunity & Human Rights Commission
2. Mapping Social Cohesion 2025: Exploring Social Cohesion in Local Contexts
5:35 – 6:05 pm
Anthea Hancocks, Chief Executive Officer, Scanlon Foundation Research Institute
The session will take place on Wednesday, 10 June, from 5:05 pm to 6:15 pm. You are welcome to join online via the link below. We kindly ask that external attendees depart following the presentations and Q&A, so we can continue with a short network meeting.
