Catholic Earthcare Australia, in partnership with the Uniting Church, and supported with funding from the Department of Industry as part of the Energy Efficiency Information Grants Programme, has established a National Energy Efficiency Network (NEEN) to enable faith-based and not-for-profit community organisations to reduce their energy consumption, energy expenditure and carbon emissions.

The National Energy Efficiency Network (NEEN) is supporting this aim by providing FREE access to specialist energy efficiency information, energy savings calculators, member events and NEEN+ Community forums.

NEEN is launching in Melbourne on Friday the 9th of May 2014 (9am-2pm) @ the Catholic Leadership Centre - 576 Victoria Parade East Melbourne.

We welcome a diverse range of faith groups and individuals to attend our Melbourne launch. There will be opportunities to learn about how energy efficiency can reduce your energy costs, to discuss faith ecology work as well as to network with people in the not-for-profit and faith sectors.

For catering purposes, we request that people register for this event this week, though the event registration deadline is 12pm Tuesday the 6th of May.

Feel free to pass this invitation to faith group and not-for-profit networks, groups, trusted media people and leaders that you think may like to attend this valuable free event.

Further questions contact: Michael Hwang | Regional Leader, NEEN: Mobile: 0417 342 017  Email: michael.hwang@neen.org.au

Purpose of NEEN: The purpose of NEEN is to enable small to medium sized, faith-based & not-for-profit community organisations to respond to the demands of a changing energy landscape, providing them with the opportunity to connect, share information and collaborate on initiatives that reduce energy consumption, energy expenditure and carbon emissions.
