Restoring Hope - Young Adults and Interfaith
Join us for breakfast and hear stories about the Interfaith bushwalk
A Buddhist, a Muslim and a Christian go bushwalking at Easter… is this the start of a bad joke? No, the Brimbank & Maribyrnong Interfaith Network recently went on a three-day, interfaith youth bushwalk.
Come along to the ‘Restoring Hope - Young Adults and Interfaith’ breakfast briefing to hear about the groups learnings from this interfaith Stepping OUT Bushwalk. Experienced Outdoor Ed leaders and the Venerable Dorje Lozang will host the breakfast. Fifteen young Muslims, Christians, Agnostics and Buddhists trekked the rugged Burchell Trail through the Brisbane Ranges west of Melbourne on the Easter long weekend. The briefing will include interviewing these young people to learn why the “future of peace is dependent on our young people building a nation where difference is celebrated and faith is both open minded yet integral” (Stepping OUT Bush Walk co-cordinator Geoff Wraight)
