A Taste of Faith forum on Sunday June 16 drew a good crowd of mostly women from the three Abrahamic faiths to the Paddy O’Donoghue Centre in Noble Park.
Speakers from each of the three faiths talked warmly and informatively about the customs and food from within their particular faith.
While speaking from a personal perspective and quite different in approach and content, the afternoon was enlightening for all.
A delicious afternoon tea highlighting some typical food from each faith was followed by a round table discussion and question and answer session.
A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was had by all.
This event was organised and hosted by the JCMA Women’s Committee and sponsored by: Islamic Council of Victoria, Jewish Community Council of Victoria, Victorian Council of Churches, State Government Victoria.
