The National Energy Efficiency Network (NEEN) is a free initiative that assists Places of Worship, Retreat Centres, Religious Congregations, Social support agencies and Not For Profit organisations who support the local communities (both spiritually and practically) to become more resilient into the future. This initiative is being led by Catholic Earthcare Australia, along with key partners such as the Uniting Church & Anglican EcoCare.

NEEN LogoNEEN invites faith communities to come together and set a new narrative for how we see, feel and act in the world, starting with Energy Efficiency as a common thread to unite the needs of individuals, organisations and the environment. NEEN supports faith communities in responding to the demands of a changing energy landscape by providing tailored resources and a participatory, learning community experience, that promotes collaboration and dialogue around energy efficiency, sustainability and the needs of the community sector.

By participating together – being spiritually aware, we are inspired, uplifted and moved to be better and do good for and on behalf of the community. The future of humanity and life is dependant upon societal involvement, it is only through collective action from faith, community and science groups that positive, lasting change will take place. Life is precious and for life to prosper - we must care for the Earth and find new ways to respectfully and sustainably develop as individuals, communities and a  global family.

What we do now, affects the future  – it is in our hands today – not tomorrow.
