Imam Janud said that Islam is not a new religion. It is the same message and guidance that God revealed to all the prophets before the Holy Prophet Muhammad (May Peace and Blessings of God be Upon Him). He said, “Islam and the Holy Quran do not present a new religion but it’s the continuation of the previous religions that came before. Muslims do not limit themselves in believing in the five scriptures mentioned in the Holy Quran but every scripture brought forward by any spiritual man all over the world.”

Imam Janud also gave a brief introduction about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and its founder, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian. Members of the audience had the opportunity to listen to an Adhan (Islamic call to prayer) and a recitation of a poem.
