  • Anda McMillan joined The World Peace Prayer Society in 2013 (the  organisation was founded in Japan in 1950) and has since coordinated a small but enthusiastic group of peace advocates in West Gippsland. The group meets twice monthly to share practices which promote the idea that world-wide peace  begins  with  developing  inner  peace  at   the   individual   level.   The group has also hosted community events, as part of world-wide initiatives such as Symphony of Peace Prayers, a forum to encourage interfaith dialogue, and the UN-based International Day of Peace.

  • Param Kaur is the Co-director of Sikh Australian Support for Family Violence (SASAF). She is also a kindergarten teacher and a volunteer with Sikh Interfaith Council of Victoria.
