Listening to the Land is an initiative of the Mornington Peninsula Interfaith Network, seeking to bring people from different faith and cultural backgrounds together to connect or reconnect with the Land and to be moved to care for the Land.
Our Spring Listening to the Land program will be held at OT DAM, Dromana on Saturday 5 October, 2019. Program begins at 10am and includes an introductory talk, a listening walk, and a meditation. The walk and meditation will be led by Lionel Lauch, a Gunditjmara Kirrae Wurrung-Bundjalung man.
The walk is a 3 km circuit in tranquil bushland including Eucalyptus forests and with a boardwalk around O.T. Dam. The walk is well sign posted and borders the Hillview quarry.
The walk will conclude around 1pm followed by a shared afternoon lunch . BYO Vegetarian food - something easy to share. Plates, cups and drinks will be provided.
Meeting point is the parking area on Arthurs Seat Road (400 metres west of Main Creek Road) Dromana.
