World Interfaith Harmony Week: Darebin Interfaith Council

The Darebin Ethnic Communities Council (DECC), Darebin Interfaith Council (DIFC), and Darebin Intercultural Centre (DIC) cordially invites you to a public morning tea to celebrate:

World Interfaith Harmony Week (1-7 February 2014)

In recognition of the imperative need for dialogue among different faiths and religions to enhance mutual understanding, harmony and cooperation among people, the United Nations proclaims the first week of February every year the World Interfaith Harmony Week between all religions, faiths and beliefs.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Dialogue on Faith and Protection’s “welcome the stranger” campaign will also be presented at this function. This campaign calls for the protection and hospitality of refugees.
