Why Interfaith Dialogue?
with Rev Dr Robert Johnson, Minister for the High Street Uniting Church Frankstson

As General Secretary for the Uniting Church in Victoria and Tasmania Synod, Rev Dr Robert Johnson encouraged and was kept informed about a number of inter-faith initiatives.  When the Dandenong Interfaith Network sought to respond creatively to conflict in the former Yugoslavia they did so through dialogue between faith groups that had strong links into those communities.  He also worked alongside the ICV (Islamic Council of Victoria) in dialogue between Christian and Muslim communities in Indonesia when unrest developed after 300 years of peaceful co-existence.

Rev Dr Robert Johnson will be sharing his thoughts and experiences of interfaith dialogue and how we can all make a difference.  We look forward to seeing you there.
