Welcome to FCCV

Established in 2010, the Faith Communities Council of Victoria (FCCV) is Victoria’s umbrella multifaith body. It is the successor to the Leaders of Faith Communities Forum, founded in 1995.

FCCV was created to contribute to the harmony of the Victorian community by promoting positive relations between people of different faiths and greater public knowledge and mutual understanding of the teachings, customs and practices of Victoria's diverse faith traditions.

International Peace Day 2026 Event: COMMON

COMMON (Centre of Melbourne Multifaith and Others Network) invites you to:

International Peace Day Event 2026

Date: Sunday 27 September 2026      Time: 11.30am (Registration and Lunch) | Program 12.30pm start to 3pm
Location: Scientology Community Centre, 231 Mount Alexander Rd Ascot Vale

The event will celebrate International Peace Day. A delicious lunch will be served followed by a program with entertainment and presentations. 

The event is supported by Youth for Human Rights Australia, Victoria Chapter, Moonee Valley Interfaith Network, and Avondale Heights and East Keilor Residents Association, Somali Community Inc, and Natyakshetra Vidhyalaya - Dance the Divine. 

This is a free event.
