On Monday March 30th 2015, the Frankston Interfaith Network in conjunction with the Jewish-Christian-Muslim-Association (JCMA) and Frankston Uniting Church organised an Interfaith Model Seder - a celebration of the Jewish Festival of Passover.
On Sunday 15 March 2015, Dilnaz Billimoria of the Whitehorse Interfaith Network (WIN) was invited by the City of Whitehorse to be the Master of Ceremonies at the Global Fiesta. The Global Fiesta is a national Harmony Day event and a celebration of the wonderful, culturally diverse community in the City of Whitehorse.
On Sunday 15 March 2015, the Jewish Christian Muslim Association of Australia (JCMA) Women’s Committee held a forum titled 'Understanding the Head Covering: a Jewish, Christian & Muslim Perspective'. The forum provided a unique opportunity to understand and appreciate the significance of the head covering in each of the three Abrahamic faiths.
On Thursday 12 March 2015, as part of Cultural Diversity week, the Casey Multifaith Network hosted a tour to places of worship. 28 people attended the tour which covered places of worship in three municipalities: City of Casey, City of Greater Dandenong and City of Frankston.
On Sunday 8 March 2015, the Women’s Interfaith Network (WIN) organized an afternoon of caring and sharing on International Women’s Day. The program, titled 'Healing our Family', was held at the Casey Council Chambers and attended by approximately 100 people.
On Saturday 28 February 2015, the Kingston Interfaith Network hosted a wonderful Interfaith Breakfast at Café Sana in Moorabbin. This was a popular event with approximately 50 people attending from in and around Kingston. The guest speakers, and committee were extremely welcoming to all who attended which helped make the event such a success.
