On Thursday 20th March 2014, over 100 people gathered at the Melton Library and Learning Hub to celebrate Cultural Diversity Week and to launch the Melton Interfaith Network.

On Sunday 16th March 2014, the Frankston Interfaith Network celebrated Harmony Day with a panel discussion on 'Religion, Society & Interfaith' at Frankston Library. The discussion was faciliated by Norman Currie from Channel 31's Diversity in Harmony program.

Australia’s very first Islamic art museum, the ‘Islamic Museum of Australia’ is set to open its doors to the public on Monday 3rd March 2014, promising to take visitors on an interactive journey through the arts, history, culture and the stories of everyday Australian Muslims.
