On Sunday 23rd February 2014, Frankston Interfaith Network (FIN) led a bus tour from Frankston to the Immigration Museum in Melbourne to see the Faith, Fashion, Fusion exhibition followed by an afternoon visit to the Mission to Seafarers.

Australia’s very first Islamic art museum, the ‘Islamic Museum of Australia’ is set to open its doors to the public on Monday 3rd March 2014, promising to take visitors on an interactive journey through the arts, history, culture and the stories of everyday Australian Muslims.

The Ballarat Mayor Josh Morris responds to an anti-Islamic group's opposition to the construction of a mosque. Anti-Islamic group Restore Australia is encouraging Ballarat residents to protest against the development of a mosque in Canadian.

AN anti-Islamic group is mobilising against Ballarat’s first mosque. Restore Australia, which describes Islam on its website as a “aggressive totalitarian political ideology”, plans to letterbox people in Ballarat to “mobilise people to write to the council” to oppose the building of a mosque at 116 Elsworth Street East in Ballarat.The Islamic Society of Ballarat has purchased the property and been granted a planning permit by the City of Ballarat.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Association (AMA) Victoria hosted its annual Australia Day multifaith dinner to commemorate Australia Day at their Langwarrin mosque on Saturday the 1st of February 2014. The dinner was attended by more than 150 guests including Interfaith Networks representatives, Federal and State MPs, Mayors, Councillors, local government officials, Victoria Police officials, fire chief, university professors, university students, Australia Day ambassador, neighbours and local community members.

The Kingston Interfaith Network joined in the celebrations at Globe to Globe World Music Festival on Australia Day with music, dancing and arts and craft. Held at Namatjira Park, Clayton South, Globe to Globe is an annual festival for the City of Kingston.

Approximately 200 people gathered at the Flemington Community Centre on Sunday 24th November 2013 to participate at the Victorian Interfaith Networks Conference (VINC), hosted in 2013 by Moonee Valley Interfaith Network and Moonee Valley City Council.
