The Multifaith Multicultural Youth Network (MMYN) is inviting applications for its new term in 2013.  The MMYN is a group of highly capable, engaged and enthusiastic young people from diverse cultural, linguistic and religious backgrounds, who gather regularly to advise the government on issues affecting Victoria's multicultural youth and work on projects that build community harmony.

On Thursday 19th July,  46 people enjoyed a tour to three Places of Worship. The group were members of the Casey Multi-faith Network, a Probus Club, Casey U3A (University of the Third Age) and other members of the public.

The Pakenham Hall came alive on Sunday July 1st, when the Cardinia Interfaith Network celebrated their first public event, "A Taste of Faith", attracting more than 100 attendees.

On Monday 9th of July 2012, eight representatives from Western regions of Victoria met at Brimbank City Council to discuss isssues relating to Interfaith Networks. The meeting was convened by the Faith Communities Council of Victoria and hosted by Brimbank & Maribyrnong Interfaith Network.

We are currently in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan. So what is the importance of this period to a Muslim? Here is a brief  introduction to Ramadan for people of all faiths.

A wide range of people turned up for a public conversation Sunday July 29, 3.00-4.30pm, at Nunawading Uniting Church, followed by further talk over coffee afterwards.  The conversation with Scott Hedges of FIRIS [Fairness in Religion in Schools] was led by Rev Dr Paul Tonson.

On June 3rd 2012, faith traditions came together in the spirit of peace to celebrate at the Mornington Peninsula Interfaith Festival. This year's theme was 'The Wisdom of Indigenous Faiths' focusing on how indigenous cultures can teach us about sharing, sustainability, and our spiritual relationship to Mother Earth.

Monash Interfaith Gathering in conjunction with Monash City Council held an Interfaith Festival at the Clayton Community Centre on Sunday 22nd April.  This event brought together people of many faiths sharing their beliefs and practices and talking together on the theme of ‘Promoting Peace Faith and Harmony in our Multicultural Community’.
